WATERS OF LIFE

Waters of Life

WHOLE PERSON WHOLE PLANET has been a prominent theme during the last

decade. I contend that the health of the waters that flow on and in this Earth

directly reflect the health of the waters within the human being. In Chinese

terminology these rivers are called Meridians that directly reflect an internal organ

or health systems.

IDAHO is an ancient land filled with some of the most spectacular origins of fresh

flowing waters. To name a few Box Canyon, Malad Springs, Devil Corral. . .

radiates awesome natural beauty but are some of largest flows of waters on this

continent and are located in Southeast Idaho and are in the backyard of my seven

generations of Idaho rooted family. From 1975-1985 I lived close to the canyon rim

by Thousand Springs in the Magic Valley.

My grandparents were ranchers. One genetic inheritance I received was the love of

the earth, her plants and animals. At an early age I heard the alarming

conversations my grandfather and uncles had concerning nuclear testing and the

unexplained damage to sheep and cattle. Repeatedly proving the governments

involvement with maim to the land and damage to personal health as a result of

both being radiated and consuming the growth from contaminated soils.

When I returned to Southeast Idaho in 1974 and lived for ten years near Thousand

Springs, startling health concerns were brought to me. As a tenured educator in

Idaho schools plus at that time a student of Wholistic Health I learned of the

alarming numbers of mental and emotional decay in that quadrant of Idaho.

Statistic show the diseased and burdened committing suicide, abusing family

members, alarming amounts of infertility, riddled with cancer and predestined to

chronic suicide. I have no doubt that with Arco’s influence and the multitude of

Nevada bomb testing plus the untold of tests that are never announced have

affected us.

Why did I spend ten years on the land near the waters’ origins? I was ill? I had a

disease of the mind and the body.

The path I took to heal myself taught me about the integration of body and mind.

That the foods of thought and substance form us.

On a spiritual note, the indigenous people relate to the Earth as Mother and GOD

as Father Heaven. On Earth all the plants, rivers, stones, four-legged, those that

crawl and creep, and the winged, storms, winds, and on are family. At a point of

origins we begin as one the same. Before a person makes contact, consumes,

kills, changes aspects of life there is prayer for appropriate action, rightness. The

indigenous spokespeople speak of being conscious of our ever interinvolvement.

Something that the white entrepreneurs have misunderstood or ignored.

So when I speak to the health of our rivers. It’s time to clean them up, to be

concerned with their vitality and volume. As I we work to improve their cleanliness

our personal health will directly benefit. I request that those in the powers to decide

what influenced are put upon the external waters of Idaho first communicate an

understanding that their actions will influence the emotional, mental, physical and

spiritual health of all who walk on this good EARTH. I am also asking that they

start to immediately clean-up the toxic pileups that are in Idaho. This means not

the lip service that it will be done but it is being done, right now.
