Ah what does that mean living by one’s own wishes. I’ve learned of many an Indigenous people captured in a state of despair. Their capacity to wish or even hope for a return to a life lived well in harmony with nature and respected by all. A place only existing in their oral culture’s stories and their dreams, losing their strength to keep envisioning that someday, sometime life would be restored to a respectful, resourceful existence.
I have learned that this state is called star sickness. In my heart of heart beliefs “We come from the stars and to the stars we shall return.”
The way I have been taught Spirit is eternal, energetic, light energy, love. Our true spiritual home, family for me is in the stars. We each come from a home star, a light constellation family. Having a human in bodied earth experience is a privilege. It’s an opportunity to do big work for all the family of life, light and nature. Many native peoples believe before taking human forms, we are in our “light body” with other kindred spirits in the Garden, star garden of the Creator.
We made contracts with other star family members who were also returning to earth. We agreed, should we find each other during our earth life chapter to help each other remember our assignment, our advocacy for this chosen privileged earth life for the sake of our children’s children’s children to live a good life, a vital existence on this sweet Earth star.
It is believed there is no accident, no mistaken zygote, to the earth family we are born into or the significant life relationships chapters we will engage. We choose these opportunities. Often times it is our light family member arriving as agreed upon. They become our greatest teachers, our finest liberators from unhealthy family, cultural and societal patterns.
One of the aspirations of we star light beings is to find each others, retaining a consciousness of our eternal commitments for the sake of all the family life, light and nature. To wake up and with clarity recognize one is part of a tribe, a clan with common deep light wisdom. Well, it equates to living heaven on earth.
In Celtic lore finding a soul friend, resounding glory an eternal friend is called ANUM CARA.
When we take our first breath, as I have been taught; the eternal spirit is now expressed as one’s soul. Also, three guardians, adowbwis angels; come in with us. They are always to be with us, these “GOD MOTHERS”. It is the role of the grandparents, elders to introduce the newborn to the family of nature and the universe, the stars.
Soon, the swaddled infant is to be carried out in the dark of night. The eldest would point upward to the majestic, midnight blue, star sprinkled skies and point out their home star with the prayer of “You come from the stars and to the stars you shall return.” Seek counsel with your star messengers, they lulled to the baby. When you go into the great, deep, dark mystery, sleep; your light messengers carry you back home to the star garden, the eternal family of life and light. They help you be strong and courageous, remembering the intent of this earth family and walk of relations.
The elders now keinely observe the authentic nature of newborn, referring to the greater earth family; the young would be named. Ah he has the strength of an ox, ah she has far seeing Hawk eyes, ah this one has the fierce strength of a mother bear, ah this one bends and heals like the willow. And so the naming goes.
Legend speaks “You will reinvent everything
Through intent, will, love and compassion.”
In the language of land based people or natural spiritualist, we are to be in good relations with all the family of light, love and nature. It is felt that everything including the stars share the same spark of life, light. We are all related. When a beings earth walk is completed, their physical body is dropped to return to feed the earth and one’s light body, their spark, their spirit returns to their home star, to the eternal garden.
Those of we beloveds still in physical form now have a plug in, a connection with the departed in our hearts. One’s heart is the cross road of all times, the source to stay connected through all times. Spiritually closer instantly responsive to heart felt loving reflections.
